Pour ce qui concerne le blason, il s'agit en fait d'une composition qui n'a rien d'officiel, il représente un loup-cervier; cet animal a terrorisé Givry et sa région au cours de l'année 1765 en s'attaquant à des personnes dans la campagne environnante, il a fait plusieurs victimes et il semble que cette histoire soit à l'origine du "blason" mais nous n'avons pas plus de précision. Thank you so much for your congratulations concerning our site. As pertains the Arms, it is in fact an unofficial composition to represent a red wolf; this animal terrorized Givry and its region in the year 1765, attacking people in the neighbourhood country, making several vicitims and it seems that this story is the origin of our "Arms", but that is all we know.
