Founded in 1999, it deservedly become the talk of the town! I personally discovered it on the 23rd of November 2000.
Look at the pictures to find out what we sampled on that day:
Above: Seabream Sashimi Salad; Three tastes of Saurel (Aji no Tataki)
Below: Tebasaki (Chicken wings) on a bed of lentils; Anago (Conger) rolls filled with mashed lily roots; Deep-fried Pumpkin balls & Shrimp Balls; Fried Foiegras with Japanese Daikon Sauce.
We also had a snack (x2) to go the drinks and Kobujime Sakana (fish cooked in Seaweed broth)
We also had three servings od cold sake. We paid a total of 9,730 yen. Great value!
The restaurant is installed in a brand new house, all wood inside and outside. You can choose to sit at a counter or a table on the ground floor or on a tatami or at a table upstairs. All amenities are first-class, the service pleasant and attentive. The staff wear clothes that will enchant foreign guests. To cap it all the walls are decorated with some great painitngs lent by a famous artist!
